Halloween Decorations

Happy Monday Everyone!! Today I want to share with you my halloween decorations. We had our annual Halloween party last Friday and it was a great success! This year our theme was the new Stephen King  movie "It" just the interior of the home as I had to keep the outside kid friendly for when we hand out candy on Halloween night.
Every year I decorate with the regular spider webs around the house, but I find I have to use so many bags of it because there are different qualities out there. Some brands are not the best, they fall apart and don't stretch as much as others, so this time I decided to order beef netting from Trenton Mills in the US and shipped it to my home in Canada. I have to say, that was the best decision ever! I loved the beef netting, it is super easy to decorate with and you can cover a lot of area with it. I spent about $60 USD for 10 lbs. and I have a full roll left. I definitely recommend for you guys to try this next year, it is the best! People were stopping by to ask what it was when I was outside decorating and complimenting on how awesome it looked.
Here are some pictures from the halloween decorations:

We placed wood like panels on the window made out of cardboard and a black sharpie. We also placed cheese cloth all thru the front of the double garage and the beef netting with giant spiders on the side and the entrance of the home.

Here is the entrance of the home, I took this photo with a flash so you can see better all the details. The red balloons were floating all around the home.

This spider is activated by noise and it definitely scared a bunch of our guests.
Above you can see the entrance of the home without a flash.

We made this super cool floating ghosts made out of packing tape, they were a bit of a challenge but it was all worth it, they really looked amazing!

My home entrance with some DIY decorations I found on Pinterest like the book with the eyeballs and the other book with the skeleton hand scratching the book.

I like removing some of my furniture to have more space for dancing as well as my rugs and covering my furniture with white sheets, that way I prevent my furniture from any spills and it gives it that "haunted mansion" look.

Above you can see me in a super creepy costume of a broken doll, I made the mask with layers of liquid latex and applied make up on it once it was dried. It turned out pretty scary if I say so myself!                 You can also see a close up of my husband's amazing make up done by CurliQue Beauty downtown Vancouver. They did such a great job, super professional and when you get your make up done there you can redeem the total money spent on your make up in beauty products from their store which is so awesome!
My husband's Pennywise costume was made by my incredibly talented sister in Mexico, She is studying Fashion Design, so we asked if She could make the costume and honestly it was the best  thing ever, so detailed and perfect! Check out her Instagram page @custommadegdl and make sure to follow her to see all the great clothing pieces she makes, absolutely the best!
Hope you have a wonderful Halloween!! Till next time,
