What I like about this Navy colour is that it could be as enjoyable and flexible as the grey shades that were so popular in the last years and you can still use it as a backdrop to place furniture and accessories around it.
Hello and Happy Friday!! I want to talk about the shade of the moment and that is Navy Blue. Have you noticed everywhere you look whether it is in interior decor or fashion design, this beautiful colour is right there in front of your eyes? Well that is because this is the colour that is trending right now and has been for a while!! There was a report from Pinterest where they revealed there was an 80% increase on pinnings with this colour so far this year, so that means we will keep seeing lots of inky hues around us! What I like about this Navy colour is that it could be as enjoyable and flexible as the grey shades that were so popular in the last years and you can still use it as a backdrop to place furniture and accessories around it. Happy Saturday!! Today I'm celebrating Earth Day sharing with you my top Eco friendly decor items for your home. Nowadays, I see more companies and people out there getting more conscious about the products they are using and being more mindful of our planet. Hello Everyone!! I am so sorry I have been absent from my blog for a bit, I was in Mexico planning my sister's wedding as she is getting married in July. I spent one week in the state of Guanajuato, and I have to tell you that this is one of my favourite parts of Mexico. This gorgeous state makes you feel like you are in Europe with cobblestone roads everywhere you look, colourful houses and small alleys around the towns. I visited Guanajuato, Leon and Queretaro, but the city I love the most is Guanajuato, it is such a romantic city and it has lots of historical attractions to enjoy. While I was there, I was introduced to a gorgeous boutique hotel that absolutely blew my mind... Villa Maria Cristina Hotel has 38 suites, including one private contemporary villa. This hotel opened its doors in 2005 so it is fairly a newer hotel. The general design is inspired by the town of Guanajuato through its internal paths, stairs, alleys, Catalan mosaics and French cast iron columns, besides the Belgium façade house. The Hotel Villa Maria Cristina includes two restaurants, one Lounge bar, two other bars, an amazing movie theatre with seating for up to 30 people and a deck with an outdoor heated swimming pool. Keeping wellness in mind, besides the fitness center, the 300 sq. meters Terma Spa features a covered heated swimming pool that is absolutely stunning, private steam rooms and sauna baths among many upscale facilities. One thing that really caught my attention was the impeccable cleanliness of this place, everything was perfect and the service was outstanding! Definitely a place to visit and stay while in Guanajuato. If you are planning to go to the Mexican interior, you must visit the estate of Guanajuato and stay at this gorgeous hotel. This home is brand new and the style is California-mediterranean with panoramic ocean views. I really like how there are lots of outdoor spaces, both in the front as well as in the back of the home and I absolutely adore the detailing on the windows and the front door.
